Security Officer Armed Patrol Representative (Manassas, VA)

Job Schedule:
Day Time: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to property management and or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with enforcing community rules and property access procedures.
Support day‑to‑day residential operations by communicating clearly with residents and staff, addressing routine concerns, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and other property‑related issues that may require follow‑up.
Minimum Requirements:
Armed guard card/license required.
Customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Access control/badge experience preferred.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background investigation to be conducted as a condition of employment in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screening to be conducted as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements subject to state and or local laws and regulations may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
