Summary
The Field Safety Representative II promotes the Company’s IIF culture by ensuring every co‑worker returns home safe each night. The role is 100% field‑based, observing and coaching co‑workers to correct unsafe conditions and behaviors. The representative may supervise lower‑level Field Safety Representatives and Coordinators, reinforce positive behavior through recognition and/or rewards, and serve as a resource to co‑workers by answering safety questions and sharing lessons learned. Embedded with the project team, the representative strategically “dives in” using a hands‑on approach to improve project safety, quality, and productivity (SQP).

Roles and Responsibilities

Promote the Company’s IIF Culture by bringing a Safety Resource on the Project

Assist in Project Compliance with all Safety Rules and Regulations

Assist with or conduct Case Management

Ensure a Safe Work Environment

Participate in Training/Certifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (safety‑related major) and a minimum of 2 years of concrete construction and safety experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must obtain OSHA 30‑hour certification within 3 months.
