The role
ServiceNow’s Global Impact team is seeking a contractor to provide project management services supporting defined in‑kind ServiceNow implementation projects. This engagement is focused on delivery oversight, governance, and milestone management for assigned nonprofit implementation engagements within an agreed contract period. The contractor will coordinate with nonprofit stakeholders and certified implementation partners to support successful go‑live and early adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Governance
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestone tracking, and dependency mapping for assigned engagements
Establish and manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
Facilitate governance cadences, including status reviews, milestone checkpoints, and go‑live readiness reviews
Provide structured reporting aligned to agreed delivery milestones
Delivery Oversight & Coordination
Coordinate with nonprofit stakeholders and certified implementation partners to monitor implementation progress
Ensure alignment between approved scope, grant objectives, and implementation timelines
Identify delivery risks or scope variances and recommend mitigation strategies
Escalate material risks to designated ServiceNow stakeholders as appropriate
Milestone & Outcome Tracking
Track progress against defined implementation milestones
Support go‑live readiness validation and transition planning
Deliver post‑implementation summary reports outlining project outcomes, risks, and lessons learned
Advisory Support
Provide independent advisory input regarding delivery structure, sequencing, and risk management
Leverage prior ServiceNow implementation experience to assess delivery feasibility and alignment with platform best practices
Qualifications
4–8 years of experience managing enterprise technology implementation projects
Demonstrated experience managing or supporting ServiceNow implementations
Working knowledge of ServiceNow delivery methodologies (e.g., NowCreate)
Experience coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and external implementation partners
Strong risk management and governance capabilities
Ability to operate independently and manage defined project engagements concurrently
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred
Experience working with nonprofit or mission‑driven organizations preferred
