We are looking for an afternoon therapist
Duties:
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior change
Conduct preference assessments and assist with functional behavior assessments
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans accurately
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Patience and compassion when working with individuals with ASD
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Basic computer skills for data collection and reporting
RBT Certification a plus
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with individuals with ASD is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
