Pool Attendant (Seasonal) - Waldorf Astoria Park City (HOT0CHCQ)
Work Locations: Waldorf Astoria Park City, 2100 Frostwood Blvd, Park City 84098
Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Pool Attendant (Seasonal) to join the Team in Park City.
Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Set up and break down pool deck, side stations and host stand daily
Provide guest with water and coordinate daily amenity service including sunscreen, towels, and other offerings
Have knowledge of food, beverage and cocktail menu items and preparation methods
Assist with the summer recreation program
May assist with food & beverage duties in the absence of pool servers or during heavy volume
Escort guests and maintain pool area cleanliness; coordinate with housekeeping for linens
Ensure adequate supply of linen and amenities
Maintain personal presentation and interpersonal skills; adaptable to any task
Have a flexible schedule to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
Anticipate guest needs, respond to concerns, and uphold Waldorf Astoria policies
Ensure safety and security for guests, owners, members, and team members
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
Maintain cleanliness of pool house restrooms and overall work environment
Work harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, and outside contacts
Possess CPR/First Aid skills/certification
May assist with setup and breakdown of banquet events
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
Experience: Previous customer service experience is required, preferably in a luxury environment.
Skills & Abilities: Customer service oriented, attention to detail, ability to maintain an organized workspace, maintain professionalism and composure in a high-paced environment.
Key Competencies: Caring, compassionate and confident; aware and present; honest, reliable and a committed team player.
