Responsibilities
Create, prepare, and bake an array of pastries, breads, viennoiseries, and desserts with meticulous attention to detail and quality
Execute intricate chocolate work, sugar work, and specialty amenities with artistry and technical expertise
Develop and refine pastry items for à la carte service, banquet menus, and VIP amenities, ensuring each creation aligns with our aspiration for Forbes 5‑Star and Michelin‑star recognition
Ensure precision in preparation and presentation, maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness and uphold food sanitation standards at all times, adhering to local and federal regulations
Manage ingredient inventory, proper storage, and rotation, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste
Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and enhance the pastry program while maintaining the integrity of classic techniques
Contribute to the guest experience through personalized and artistic pastry presentations that exceed expectations
Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items, ensuring a seamless workflow in the pastry kitchen
Compensation
The rate of pay for this role is $32.7821 – $43.7094 and is based on applicable and specialized experience.
Qualifications
Experience in Forbes 5‑Star, Michelin‑star, or ultra‑fine dining pastry kitchens with a strong foundation in classical and modern pastry techniques
Expertise in chocolate work, sugar work, viennoiserie, and plated desserts with an emphasis on precision and artistry
A deep passion for hospitality and fine dining, with a relentless pursuit of perfection in presentation and flavor
Ability to execute and refine high‑end pastry menus for à la carte dining, banquets, and specialty amenities
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency
Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety protocols, ensuring a seamless and professional kitchen environment
Required to obtain a valid food handler’s card prior to receiving an offer
Full availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of our world‑class operation
