Class B Aerial Lift Mechanic
Salary: $30-$35/hour
Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical issues with aerial lifts
Performing regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and the checking of brake systems
Repairing or replacing damaged or worn-out parts
Performing electrical and hydraulic repairs as necessary
Running diagnostic tests to ensure that repairs have been successful, and equipment is functioning properly
Maintaining and ordering parts inventory
Adhering to safety protocols and standards while working on heavy machinery
Performing routine safety inspections on all lift equipment
Documenting all repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed
Staying updated on the latest safety regulations and procedures in the industry
Responsibilities
Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing aerial lift equipment
Maintaining service logs and records of maintenance and repairs
Adhering to safety regulations and procedures
Performing routine preventative maintenance
Ordering and installing parts and components
Operating and testing equipment to ensure functionality
Responding to service calls and emergency repairs as required
Keeping workspace clean and organized
Qualifications
Proven work experience as an Aerial Lift Mechanic or similar role
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engine repair
Familiarity with various types of aerial lift equipment
Ability to read and understand service and repair manuals
Strong problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification in a relevant field is a plus
