About the Position
As a Residential Care Associate I you will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients at Alder Creek Residential Treatment Facility. Your duties include personal care services, supporting the development of daily living skills, meal preparation, clean‑up, food purchasing, medication administration under a Registered Nurse, transportation to and from the program, and maintaining productivity standards for documentation of services.
Training Program
Our MHACBO‑accredited training program earns CEUs toward mental health certifications and includes required paid training and qualified clinical supervision.
Work Schedule
Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 pm – 7:30 am (Part‑time, Night)
Compensation
$20.60 – $21.86 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $3.00 per hour night‑shift differential applies during 10:00 pm – 6:00 am. A 5% language differential is offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates.
About the Program
Alder Creek is a co‑ed, 6‑bed licensed Residential Treatment Facility serving adults living with mental illness. Residents have private rooms and access to spacious common areas and enjoy outdoor amenities such as a gazebo and fenced backyard.
Qualifications
Experience in caregiving and/or mental health (personal or professional) – preferred
Dedication to the well‑being of each resident and support of activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent ADLs (IADLs)
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; must pass a DHS criminal background check (additional license required within 30 days of hire)
Physical ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds; occasionally use ladders or kneel; successfully complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR training
Must be 18 or older at the time of hire per OAR 309‑035‑0135
