
Training and OQ Support

Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring compliance and acquire a working knowledge of Energy Sector policy and procedures to be able to assist employees and management with compliance questions and issues
Assist and track tools and equipment related to safety and compliance for Gas work. Includes tracking of expiration dates and requalification dates.
Assist with calibration and repair of gas tools.
Track damages for specific divisions and will assist as needed in working with claims, investigations, and training/awareness projects
Back up filing request locates through the One Call System
Provide administrative assistance to all OQ Coordinators
Provide reports, correct errors, and support EWN, MEA and ISN
Maintain the online training systems and record keeping systems
Assist Manager, Safety Director, and field leadership with safety training, compliance and damage prevention functions
Collaborate with HR Department to assist and track training completions and expiration; identify and notify employees and their supervisors who require training.
Track and submit payroll requests for training completion.
Field safety and compliance auditing to supplement as needed.
Distribute PPE as needed to MP field staff.
Essential Education and Qualifications
Preferred Associate or Bachelor’s Degree; two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications and computers
Strong interpersonal skills. Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to document processes/procedures
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situation
Physical Demands
Sit or stand at a desk/computer for long periods of time
Focusing on a computer screen for several hours at a time
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Must be able to walk on uneven ground surfaces due to job site conditions
