
Registered Nurse - Oncology Chemo

W e are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in oncology chemotherapy to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves administering chemotherapy treatments, monitoring patient responses, and supporting patients and families throughout the treatment process.
Key Responsibilities
Ad minister chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications safely and accurately
Monitor patients for side effects and provide appropriate interventions
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Uphold infection control and safety protocols in all clinical settings
Required Qualifications
Cu rrent Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or acute care
Strong knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in an oncology unit or infusion center
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Certifications
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
