As an integral part of the OR team, the candidate must be licensed and in good standing as a registered nurse and CRNA with the state of Georgia. All while demonstrating the clinical and patient-facing skill set to deliver superb anesthesia in a fast-paced, dynamic setting in one of Alliance Spine & Pain’s JCAHO-certified ambulatory surgery centers.

Job Summary
To administer monitored anesthesia care (MAC) during a variety of procedures in a safe and professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review the cases scheduled and assigned for the day and the types of anesthesia prescribed for each. Assemble supplies and equipment needed. Explain the procedure to each patient to secure cooperation and gain confidence. Assist in transporting patients to the operating room and recovery room as needed. Maintain records for each anesthetic administered.
Pre‑induction check: adequate supplies, 02 tanks, monitoring equipment, EKG/BP, pulse oximeter and capnometer. Make sure laryngoscope blades are functioning and that
all equipment and supplies
have not expired.
Check chart for correct scheduled procedure, correct surgeon, drug allergies, pre‑anesthetic evaluation, lab data (if applicable) and other reports, medical work‑up and consultations indicated.
Maintain close communication with the MD and circulating nurse, as needed.
Respect the confidentiality of the patient, center and physician related information. Maintain confidentiality of patient records and use complete discretion when discussing patient information.
Assist with orientation/training of new personnel.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Assume personal responsibility for professional development.
Other assigned duties as applicable.
Education/Experience/Skills/Certifications
Current RN license. Must have completed the 18‑24 month residency in nurse anesthesia above the RN requirements at an institution approved by the American Association or Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Keep current BLS, ACLS, in‑services, nursing license including advanced practice and other required training. Recertification every 2 years.
