At KBR, We deliver.(TM) KBR is offering an exciting opportunity for a current college student to participate in a Summer Internship with our Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) Shared Services Team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable, the intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support high-impact, mission-critical solutions for U.S. Government customers while developing professionally and gaining hands-on experience in finance and accounting.**Roles & Responsibilities*** Support Accounts Payable functions within the Huntsville, AL Shared Services organization, with a focus on global disbursements and related reporting activities* Perform financial analysis, accounting, and reporting tasks under the guidance and mentorship of senior team members* Participate in functional projects aimed at improving or streamlining processes within assigned areas* Analyze, develop, and document opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency* Apply analytical thinking and communication skills to document work performed and recommend solutions* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and business stakeholders* Provide general support across finance and accounting functions as needed**Qualifications & Experience:*** Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field* Strong interest in pursuing a career in finance or accounting* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentAdditional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
