Job Summary
The shared services organization has a need for an Accountant intern to join the Accounts Payable team.

Responsibilities

Use of PeopleSoft technology to perform daily Accounts Payable tasks, including maintaining vendor master files

Support and conduct control testing in accordance with Sarbanes‑Oxley

Develop improved financial processes, reports, and information

Understand IRS regulations to support the creation of 1099s and 1042s

Identify opportunities to re‑engineer systems and processes to improve Accounts Payable and the end‑user experience

Participate in special projects to enhance and improve technology

Education Requirements

Seeking an individual pursuing a bachelor’s (Junior or Senior) or master’s degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or a similar program with strong analytical skills

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale)
