The Associate Production Engineer role supports the development, production, and continuous improvement of Aerospace and Industrial gas turbine components, with a primary focus on Airflow processes. You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to support production, improve processes, and contribute to new product introduction (NPI) and repair development.
You’ll gain hands‑on experience collecting and analyzing data, supporting shop floor activities, implementing tooling and process improvements, and contributing to engineering projects across the facility.
What You’ll Do
Support production and engineering activities for assigned components and processes
Apply Lean / Continuous Improvement tools to improve quality, productivity, and process stability
Analyze manufacturing data and help drive quality and throughput improvements
Assist with the design, development, and implementation of tooling, fixtures, and processes
Support new product introduction (NPI) and repair development efforts
Help define and monitor KPIs related to process and product performance
Participate in small, well‑defined projects with guidance from senior engineers
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet cost, performance, durability, and customer requirements
Troubleshoot production issues, help implement solutions, and monitor results
Prepare basic technical documentation, reports, and presentations
Present work and findings to engineering, operations, and leadership teams as needed
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related discipline)
0–2 years of manufacturing engineering experience
Knowledge of gas turbine system design & manufacturing and airfoil manufacturing
Basic knowledge of:
Manufacturing processes and engineering drawings
3D CAD and/or FEA fundamentals
Lean or Continuous Improvement concepts
Familiarity with aerodynamic, performance, or heat transfer concepts is a plus
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a hands‑on, team‑based manufacturing environment
Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow as an engineer
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
