What you will do
We are seeking a
Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
to join the
Data Management team
supporting the
Fixed Income data platform . This role is heavily focused on building data products and supporting ongoing business initiatives, with end-to-end ownership of data onboarding, issue resolution, and continuous improvement within an
Agile delivery model . You will be accountable for the product's success from vision to execution, collaborating closely with empowered, cross-functional product teams and business stakeholders to implement solutions that align with business outcomes.
This position is performed in a hybrid manner with a mix of work performed from our office in Newark, NJ and remotely.
The ideal candidate will be
hands-on, proactive, and accountable , with strong Fixed Income domain expertise in
public and private credit , strong SQL skills, and the ability to
decompose business logic, read code, and work directly with stakeholders and engineering teams
to ensure reliable, high-quality data product delivery.

What you can expect
Own
end-to-end delivery and support
of Fixed Income data products and initiatives working as part of a delivery team, collaborating with stakeholders, developers, QA to understand requirements, analyses and refine stories, design solutions, implement them, test them, and support them in production
Act as a
SME for driving
root cause analysis and remediation for production incidents
Translate Fixed Income business needs into
clear, actionable technical requirements , including data mappings, transformations, and validation rules
Work closely with data engineers to
analyze existing data logic, read SQL/code , and validate that implementations align with business intent
Proactively monitor data quality, identify issues, and
take accountability for resolution , not just escalation
Support Agile delivery by contributing to
backlog refinement, sprint planning, story breakdown, and acceptance criteria
Partner with
Front Office, Risk, Operations, and downstream consumers
to elicit requirements and resolve data questions
Ensure data solutions meet
production-grade standards
for stability, accuracy, traceability, and auditability
Continuously improve BAU processes, documentation, and controls to reduce recurring issues and operational risk
What you will bring
8+ years of experience working in a technology role preferably in software engineering, BSA/QA and/or application support
Strong experience working with
Public and Private Fixed Income data , including instruments such as bonds, repos, futures, swaps, and derivatives, CMLs, RMLs
Solid understanding of data domains
trades, positions, accounting/performance,
reference data
(e.g., CUSIP/ISIN/SEDOL, issuer/hierarchy, calendars etc.),
pricing and analytics data
(evaluated prices, yields/spreads, curves, OAS/duration/convexity)
Working knowledge of
data governance
concepts: data lineage, metadata, data dictionaries, stewardship, and
audit-ready
documentation/controls
Strong
SQL skills , with the ability to write and review complex queries, perform data analysis and validation independently and debug production data issues
Ability to
read and reason existing code such as Java/Python to
extract and decompose business logic
Strong understanding of data concepts such as
source-to-target mappings, data transformations and enrichment , historical vs as-of data, data quality and reconciliation controls
Experience with
data ingestion and integration patterns
(batch/stream), file formats (CSV/JSON/Parquet), and/or scheduling/orchestration tools
Proven experience working in a
strong Agile delivery environment;
comfortable breaking down requirements into
epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria

$130,000 to $160,000.
Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
