
Technology Resource Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a Technology Resource Specialist to work with our Technology Team. This employee provides technical support on software applications and hardware issues. You must be able to work with various software and hardware, be an adept troubleshooter, and be a customer service-oriented professional. This position reports to the Director of IT and Information Systems and works directly with the Director of Educational Technology.
Responsibilities
Provides training to teachers on various applications and software to enhance teaching and learning
Support beginning-of-the-year, and end-of-term academic tasks
Support academic administration with SIS Software throughout the school year
Guide, encourage, and support teachers in developing their resources and technical troubleshooting skills.
Troubleshoots academic systems and software
Support teachers with technical hardware issues
Other duties as assigned
Key Skills/Knowledge
Current in using new instructional technologies, knowledge of their use in the classroom, and willingness to learn additional instructional tools.
Experience using interactive panels, computers, iPads, SIS and LMS platforms, and Google Workspace
Be able to work with various hardware and software and be an adept troubleshooter and customer service oriented.
Disposition to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others and demonstrates initiative to learn on their own
Education and Experience
Required
5+ years minimum of relevant experience
Preferred
Proficiency in helpdesk software
Experience in LMS and SIS systems, preferably PowerSchool and Schoology
Experience in educational environments
Proficiency in hardware support, including interactive panels, iPads, Macbooks, and Windows devices
Proficient in Spanish or French
