For more information visit: southlakefoundation.ca.The Database Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of donor data within Raiser’s Edge/NXT and associated Blackbaud systems. This role ensures data integrity, supports reporting and analytics, and enables effective fundraising operations through high-quality data management.Working within the Development Operations & Business Intelligence team, the Database Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining clean, reliable data and supporting Foundation-wide data needs to enhance fundraising performance and donor experience.**What you’ll be doing:**### **Database & Data Support Responsibilities*** Accurately enter, update, and maintain donor and gift records in Raiser’s Edge NXT while ensuring data quality and privacy compliance* Process returned mail, update contact information, and resolve data issues through exception reporting* Support gift processing during peak periods and contribute to ongoing database improvements* Create queries, lists, imports, and exports to support fundraising, communications, and reporting needs* Provide data support and insights to teams across the Foundation and liaise with external vendors as needed* Train staff on basic database use and data entry standards and assist with onboarding and continuous improvement initiatives* Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining strict donor confidentiality and contributing to a positive, professional work environment**What you’ll bring:*** Minimum 2 years of database management experience, preferably in a fundraising or non-profit environment* Experience with Raiser’s Edge/NXT (power user level preferred)* Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience* Strong data management and analytical skills with high attention to detail* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools* Experience with queries, reporting, and data analysis* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills* Strong communication skills with ability to support both technical and non-technical users* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSouthlake Health is fully committed to a culture of belonging and an inclusive environment that encourages every team member to lead within their role, generate innovative ideas that reinforce our mission and goal to create a healthy workplace where our community can thrive.Regular and reliable attendance is an expected requirement of this position.We are committed to a selection process and work environment that is inclusive and barrier-free.
