Job Summary:
We are seeking a
Senior Business Analyst
with at least
5 years of solid experience
in business analysis, preferably within the
Payments Line of Business (LOB)
or financial services domain. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and highly skilled in gathering and refining requirements. This is an
on-site position
based in
Jersey City, NJ , with the expectation to work
5 days from the office .
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to
gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements .
Filter and structure incoming requirements to
eliminate noise, identify priorities , and clarify scope.
Develop comprehensive
BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) , user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Support end-to-end delivery, from ideation to production rollout.
Participate in requirement review sessions and ensure alignment across business and technology teams.
Assist in
user acceptance testing (UAT)
and validation of business needs post-implementation.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in a
fast-paced, enterprise-level environment .
Stay current with trends and developments in the
payments industry , and demonstrate willingness to grow in this domain.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum
5 years of experience
as a
Business Analyst , preferably in financial services or banking.
Strong experience in
requirement elicitation , documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Proven ability to
reduce ambiguity , manage competing priorities, and deliver clear, actionable requirements.
Understanding of
Agile and Waterfall methodologies .
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using tools like
JIRA, Confluence, Excel , and
visio/flowcharting tools .
