Full-Time Handyman Assistant / Home Service Technician
TruBlue Home Service Ally is a nationally recognized home service franchise with over 120 locations across the United States. We specialize in professional handyman services, home maintenance, and safety and accessibility upgrades that help seniors age in place and support busy families.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Handyman Assistant / Home Service Technician to join our Phoenix team, serving areas including Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, and Ahwatukee.
This role is ideal for dependable, hardworking individuals who want to build a career in the trades, learn alongside experienced technicians, and be part of meaningful work that improves safety, independence, and quality of life.

What You’ll Do
Assist lead technicians with plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general home repair projects
Prepare and protect work areas, maintain cleanliness, and support job site organization
Handle material setup, tool management, and project clean-up
Support installation of grab bars, handrails, ramps, and other mobility and safety solutions
Work inside occupied homes with professionalism, patience, and respect
Learn proper use of tools, materials, and service processes
Communicate clearly with team members and homeowners
Help represent TruBlue as a trusted in-home service professional
Who You Are
Dependable, respectful, and motivated to learn a skilled trade
Interested in carpentry, painting, home repair, or general construction
Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
Positive attitude with strong work ethic and attention to detail
Enthusiastic and willing to learn trade skills
Able to follow systems, checklists, and service standards
Experience in home services or construction is a plus, not required
Owns or is working toward acquiring basic tools (preferred, not required)
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
What You’ll Get
Consistent, reliable work with a flexible schedule (20–40 hours per week)
Pay: $19–$22 per hour, based on experience
