Key Responsibilities
Perform
hands-on operation of HIL benches , including setup, configuration, and maintenance of physical hardware
Troubleshoot hardware and signal-level issues such as
open circuits, sensor faults, wiring problems, and signal integrity issues
Analyze unexpected test results and independently determine root causes rather than relying solely on predefined test plans
Collaborate with controls, software, and systems engineers to resolve integration and hardware-related issues
Execute and, when necessary, adapt or improve test procedures based on real-time observations at the bench
Document findings clearly, including hardware failures, corrective actions, and lessons learned
Required Qualifications
Proven
hands-on, physical HIL experience
(not limited to remote bench access or script execution)
Strong understanding of
electrical fundamentals , sensors, I/O, and signal troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems beyond following step-by-step instructions
Experience diagnosing hardware issues such as disconnected signals, faulty sensors, and unexpected system behavior
Comfortable working directly with test equipment, wiring, and HIL hardware components
