Title:
Quality Assurance Automation Analyst
Location: 1 Enterprise Drive Quincy MA will be the new location starting in the summer 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain test automation framework using Data driven and Page Object models for scripting and TestNG Framework for executing cases and Reports.
Develop and maintain complex automated regression test suite, which includes Test Script development and execution of Test Cases for end-to-end UAT testing, and automated defects and results reporting.
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and development team to evaluate complex user requests, projects and clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs.
Develop test cases and test scripts for new HIX functionalities and update relevant technical documentation.
Executed automation and manual testing for functional and regression testing for each cycle - check the integrity of overall functionality to ensure no new issues have been introduced.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end testing across multiple vendor systems, working within a multi-vendor environment to ensure smooth integration and interoperability of healthcare systems.
Perform end-to-end testing activities - application creation in Agent, Assistor and Individual portals, verifying the Eligibility Results, validating MMIS XMLs, and validating notices.
Perform core testing working on different eligibility screens in HIX and validating the Medicaid program determination results after application submission.
Execute regression automation scripted test case when needed through to troubleshoot issues.
Participate in the defect triage meeting and provide information about the defects by MassHealth UAT team to Optum and Hcentive.
Participate in cross team test case scenarios reviews.
Support adhoc scenarios requested by business. Provide necessary support to system integrator vendors when they have questions about defects logged.
Participate in HIPAA training sessions and CMS training.
Log and maintain update the defect information in the defect management tool ALM.
Provide expertise in testing within complex healthcare IT systems, specifically focusing on Medicaid, CHIP, and eligibility/enrollment systems in a modernized, cloud-based environment.
Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies and tools, and ensure the team is following industry-standard practices, including the use of Jira, ALM, and SharePoint.
Work with the Test Manager to define and optimize testing strategies, ensuring all testing activities align with the project's goals and timelines.
Ensure testing environments/Configurations are properly set up for various healthcare system components, including legacy systems and newly integrated platforms, to verify compliance and integration.
Report technical test results and issues clearly and concisely to the Test Manager through emails, MS Teams, and meetings. The QAA will bring deep technical knowledge, experience with multi-vendor and integrated healthcare environments, and expertise in testing complex eligibility and enrollment systems to support for Integrated Eligibility & Enrollment System (HIX). This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of healthcare systems, cloud environments, and cross-system integrations, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Required Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of AWS and Azure.
Broad knowledge of testing approaches and techniques for certifying software acceptance.
Highly analytical with the ability to independently analyze test results and make decisions.
Experienced in reviewing work from business analysts and subject matter experts to ensure welldefined requirements.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, especially in large-scale system modernization projects.
Strong MS Office skills, including MS Project.
Experience working with JIRA or similar management tracking tools.

Proficient in SQL and working with databases for data validation, data integrity checks, and query testing. • Ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and create robust test cases.
Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, EDGE, mobile devices). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in cloud-based systems, healthcare IT, and integrated testing, with a focus on system integration, defect management, and collaboration in multi-vendor environments.
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certifications.
