Key Required Skills:
Oracle PL/SQL, SQLPlus, Korn shell Linux scripting , some ETL experience and data warehouse concept and JCL.
Position Description:
• Maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts and Korn shell Linux scripting development.
• Participate in all customers technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance the code quality/process.
• Monitor and address ETL process to special processing requirements.
• Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace.
• All other duties as assigned or directed.
(Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
• 8 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQLPlus, Korn shell Linux scripting , some ETL experience and data warehouse concept.
• COBOL(nice to have), JCL(must), Control M (nice to have).
• Able to multitask and support multiple projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
*** Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week.
(Required Skills)
• Hands on experience in PL/SQL and ETL process.
• Hands on experience in COBOL(nice to have), JCL(must), Control M (nice to have).
• Address ad hoc Management Information/Business Intelligence (MI/BI) report requests.
• Experience using BitBucket, Git and Sourcetree.
• Excellent communication and written skills
(Desired Skills)
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL, with ETL and Data warehousing Techniques.
• Strong working experience with BI Development (i.e., Tableau and other BI tools)
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Experience in information architecture, data architecture, data modeling, data governance, ETL design, data quality and BI analytics.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
