Overview:
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Performance Test Engineer
with strong expertise in
load and performance testing
to ensure the
scalability, reliability, and stability
of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with
Development, QA, and DevOps teams
to identify performance bottlenecks and improve overall system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute
performance, load, stress, spike, and endurance tests
using
Apache JMeter
and
BlazeMeter
Analyze performance test results and identify
application, database, and infrastructure bottlenecks
Collaborate with
development, QA, and infrastructure teams
to troubleshoot performance issues and perform
root-cause analysis
Create and maintain
performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, dashboards, and reports
Monitor
application performance and system behavior
during testing cycles
Validate
performance requirements and SLAs
Participate in
performance tuning
and re-testing after fixes
Support
pre-production and production performance testing
when required
Provide clear
performance metrics, dashboards, and recommendations
to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
5-10 years
of experience in
performance and load testing
Strong hands-on experience with
Apache JMeter
Experience using
BlazeMeter
for cloud-based performance testing
Solid understanding of performance testing concepts:
Load testing
Stress testing
Spike testing
Soak / Endurance testing
Scalability testing
Experience analyzing performance metrics:
Response time
Throughput
CPU utilization
Memory utilization
Error rates
Good understanding of
HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and web applications
Experience validating
backend and database performance
Strong
analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Good
communication and documentation skills
Good to Have
Experience in
banking or financial services
domain
Familiarity with monitoring tools:
Splunk
CloudWatch
Datadog
Grafana
Prometheus
AppDynamics
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
and integrating performance tests into automation frameworks
Basic scripting knowledge ( Java, Groovy, or Python )
Experience with
cloud platforms
such as
AWS or Azure
