Job Description
Orchard Heights Senior Living is looking for a Full Time Culinary Prep Assistant who takes pride in preparing delicious, high-quality meals and creating meaningful dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing restaurant-quality meals that are both nutritious and beautifully presented
Support the Chef and Culinary Director with daily meal preparation and service
Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients for cooking
Help cook a variety of foods (baking, roasting, sautéing, steaming, etc.)
Prepare salads, cold plates, sandwiches, and beverages
Ensure meals meet special dietary needs and resident preferences
Plate and garnish meals and desserts with care and attention to detail
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years of age
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling
Ability to work with large quantities of food
Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Passion for serving seniors and honoring their preferences
