
Front Office Supervisor (PM)

Responsibilities
Welcoming and registering guests expeditiously, providing information, obtaining identification and credit/check approvals, verifying rates and departure dates, and confirming or modifying registration information per hotel procedures.
Checking departing guests out of the hotel as per hotel procedures.
Selling guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, and seasonal hotel promotions.
Adhering to policies regarding handling of employee’s cash bank.
Reconciling all charges and cash received during the shift.
Promoting the Rewards Program to guests.
Processing mail, messages, faxes and packages.
Holding a pre‑shift meeting with staff before reporting to stations.
Preparing for each daily activity and reviewing variations with management and staff.
Ensuring adequate staffing during shifts, including peak periods and high occupancy.
Communicating daily with department managers and MOD to assure consistency and share pertinent information.
Monitoring associate performance, providing feedback, and handling rewards, discipline, and counseling.
Addressing associate complaints and resolving problems.
Ensuring staff is properly groomed and uniformed at all times.
Ensuring work area cleanliness is maintained at all times.
Assisting in the preparation of weekly schedules based on guest needs and staff availability.
Processing timecards and payroll as required.
Ensuring all associates are safety conscious and trained in safe work practices.
Following 4 Keys service standards, standard operating procedures, and safety standards.
Following safety and security procedures.
Working cohesively with co‑workers and all departments as part of a team.
Following all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve operational standards.
Adhering to attendance and reliability standards.
Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Understanding the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
Prioritizing and working efficiently with limited supervision.
Being detail oriented and able to multi‑task efficiently.
Being able to speak, understand, and communicate in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Possessing excellent communication, follow‑up, and organizational skills.
Having the ability to push, pull, bend, squat, and lift on a regular basis.
Meeting safety requirements for PPE as needed for duty and use of required tools and equipment.
Performing job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritizing, organizing, and following up.
Being a clear thinker, remaining calm, and resolving problems using good judgment.
Following directions thoroughly, understanding a guest’s service needs, and working cohesively with co‑workers as part of a team.
Understanding guest service needs.
Maintaining confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Work Hours
Required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs, primarily PM shifts.
Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently to assist guests.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to hear, understand, and communicate orally and in writing with staff, vendors, and guests.
Ability to bend and twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel.
Ascend and descend a ladder.
