We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Yard Clerk / Checker
to support daily warehouse and yard operations. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, using a tablet to verify shipments, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing lists
Use a tablet or handheld device to record, track, and update shipment data in real time
Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure smooth loading/unloading
Maintain accurate inventory records and yard location tracking
Direct drivers to appropriate loading/unloading areas when needed
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of materials
Perform routine yard checks to confirm inventory accuracy and organization
Follow all safety procedures while working around equipment and vehicle traffic
Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
