Senior Java Developer

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance microservices that consume JSON payloads from multiple external agencies
• Implement business logic based on agency, notice type, and payload data.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and quality. DevOps & Deployment
• Support CI/CD pipelines for Spring Boot microservices.
• Perform application deployments across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Manage and update environment-specific configurations (externalized properties).
• Work with GitLab and CI tools (GIT, JIRA, Jenkins).
• Monitor application logs on AWS, troubleshoot deployment issues, and support production fixes.
Required Experience and Skills
• A total of 7+ years of experience with 5+ years of hands-on API/backend development and 3-4 years of real
• DevOps exposure.
• Strong experience in Java 8 or above.
• Hands-on expertise with SpringBoot and Microservices.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• • Good understanding of JSON, HTTP, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD, deployments, and configuration management.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and application troubleshooting.
• Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Monitoring & Logging (Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana. ELK). Nice to Have
• Experience with government or large-scale enterprise systems
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing or messaging system
• AWS Certified Solutions Developer
