Job Summary
Registered Nurse
– Onsite Health Technician (Full‑time) in
Milbank, South Dakota .
Monday‑Friday, 10 am‑7 pm. Compensation: $35‑$40 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead health initiatives and manage workplace safety programs.
Serve as a trusted clinical resource for employees and leadership.
Provide first aid care and treatment, triage employees after injuries according to Medcor care protocols, and support employees with wellness education.
Oversee daily clinic operations, order supplies, and maintain compliance.
Collaborate with the employer’s Safety Team, Human Resources, and external medical providers such as urgent care and hospitals.
Work independently with remote support from the operations manager and Medcor staff.
Manage electronic medical records and document patient care.
Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings, Physical Assessment Testing (PATs), case management, and OSHA record‑keeping.
A Typical Day
Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations.
Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s clients and employees.
Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols.
Build and maintain internal team relationships.
Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices.
Collaborate with client Human Resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues.
Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools.
Qualifications – You Must
Work independently with good time‑management and organizational skills.
Have valid licensure for the RN position and current CPR/BLS certification.
Strong computer and technology skills (including EMR software).
Capable of lifting a 50 lb emergency response bag.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Positive, outgoing personality and a passion for people.
Willingness to go above and beyond.
Enjoy having fun on the job.
Preferred – It’s a Plus If
Spanish‑speaking bilingual or willing to learn.
Comfortable working in a work‑site clinic environment.
Relevant occupational health experience.
Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
