
Radiology - CT Tech

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Responsibilities
Performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
Knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
Schedule
This position involves a 3/12 schedule, working Sunday to Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
Required Experience and Certifications
2+ years of hospital experience.
AZ License, CT License, and BLS are required.
Cerner experience is preferred.
