Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to acutely/critically ill adults in the ICU, including bedside assessments and ongoing monitoring.
Manage hemodynamic status with ICU equipment, including ventilators, monitors, and infusion devices; respond to deteriorating conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and therapies; observe effects and report changes per orders.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses; ensure accurate handoffs and thorough shift reporting.
Uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards; engage in patient and family education and discharge planning as appropriate.
Requirements
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
Healthcare Provider level AHA BLS required.
GSR ICU-CCU: AHA ACLS and TNCC required.
PALS preferred.
Previous ICU experience preferred.
Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.
