An industrial automation systems integrator is seeking an experienced
IT Business Analyst
to support a large-scale terminal automation initiative for a key client in The Woodlands, TX. This role will serve as a bridge between business operations and technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements and driving Toptech Systems projects from planning through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of
Toptech Systems initiatives
including site rollouts, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria
Translate business requirements into clear
technical specifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of experience as an
IT Business Analyst or IT Project Manager
Hands-on experience with
Toptech Systems (TMS6, TMS7)
Experience supporting projects in
industrial automation, terminal operations, or fuel logistics
Strong understanding of business-to-technical requirements translation
Proven ability to manage cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
terminal automation or petroleum distribution
environments
Working knowledge of
SAP, Linux, SQL
Experience with
Toptech Multiloads and FCMs
