Job Summary
Responsible for facilitating all aspects of provider credentialing including initial appointment, reappointment, credential audits, and clinical privileging. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining accuracy and integrity of credentialing data.
Key Responsibilities
Process initial and reappointment credentialing for providers
Conduct credential audits and background checks
Manage clinical privileging documentation
Utilize MDStaff system to track and maintain credentialing data
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies
Maintain accuracy and integrity of credentialing records
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in provider credentialing (initial appointment and reappointment)
Experience with credential audits and clinical privileging
Knowledge of medical staff credentialing processes and hospital bylaws
Experience performing background checks and maintaining data accuracy
Ability to ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies
Strong understanding of credentialing laws, statutes, and regulations
Experience using MDStaff credentialing software
