Senior or Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
Gather requirements, architect, design, implement, and release real-time software to control high speed equipment/machines
Identify and perform all aspects of system level testing to improve solution performance
Coordinate deliverables
Plan/maintain project schedules within specified timelines and budgets
Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
Support supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding
Work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and operations teams
Help resolve manufacturing and quality issues related to supplied components
Participate in supplier visits and occasional travel to domestic and international locations
Support internal quality reviews and investigations as needed
Qualifications (MUST):

10+ years of real-world experience with large-scale Object-Oriented (C++) Software (from requirements > design > implementation > testing > support)
8+ years of troubleshooting experience (at the system/hardware/software levels)
8+ years of RTOS
5+ years of motor control/machine automation/mechatronic systems experience
Strong history of working in an Agile environment
Solid Project Management skills
BSCS or BSEE (Must)
