Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Bait Packager workers for a leading supplier in the fishing industry located in Spirit Lake, IA. In this role, you'll support efficient packaging operations, help maintain smooth production flow, and assist with machine setup and adjustments. If you enjoy hands-on, steady-paced work and want a reliable job with weekly pay, this opportunity may be a great fit! What You'll Do as a Bait Packager:
Distribute work assignments to assembler/packagers
Perform packaging and setup operations
Tend to equipment to maintain continuous operation
Make routine machine adjustments as needed
Troubleshoot first-level issues and perform basic maintenance
Assist with tooling changeovers
Ensure needed materials and supplies are available
Change film and printer labels when necessary
Maintain production records and worksheets
Support efficient operation of the designated packaging line
What You Need to Bring to the Bait Packager Role:
High school diploma or GED, or 2+ months of related experience
Ability to add/subtract three digit numbers and perform basic weight calculations
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally (with or without reasonable accommodations)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to solve basic problems in standardized situations
