Weekend Shift| Monday - Tuesday 5:30am - 1:30pm & Saturday - Sunday 5:30am - 5:30pm

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Melt Operator workers for a metal manufacturing / foundry company in Saint Cloud, MN. In this role, you'll support furnace and melt operations that are critical to producing high-quality metal products in a safety-focused environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, physically active days, and working with a dependable team, this could be a great long-term opportunity with weekly pay. What You'll Do as a Melt Operator
Perform pressure pour tender duties, converter truck driving, and additional melt tasks as required
Assist melter and assistant melter with furnace operations, operational maintenance, and deslagging
Help perform refractory repairs on furnaces, ladles, spouts, and related equipment
Assist during furnace coil changes and refractory relines
Operate cranes to meet production requirements
Monitor quality, mechanical, or delay issues and notify supervisors as needed
Use downtime productively by completing housekeeping and area improvement tasks
What You Need to Bring to the Melt Operator Role:
Ability to work in extreme heat and industrial foundry conditions
Willingness and ability to wear all required PPE
Ability to perform physically demanding work for an entire shift
Must be able to train on 1st shift Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
Reliable attendance in compliance with company guidelines
Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Previous foundry or melt experience preferred but not required
Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, if applicable
