Role: DevOps Engineer- Level II
Work L ocation: 1450 Western Avenue, Albany NY 12203 (50% Onsite)

7+ years of experience in complex projects
2+ years in a DevOps leadership role
2+ years of Salesforce platform experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Work as a DevOps Engineer specializing in Salesforce platform
Handle both development and operations tasks
Extend functionality using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Manage integrations and system administration
Automate deployment pipelines
Design and maintain scalable platform solutions
Ensure alignment with security and enterprise standards
Work across the full technology stack
Deliver end-to-end automated solutions
Balance declarative and custom development
Improve efficiency using automation tools
Key Responsibilities
Develop backend logic using Apex Classes, Triggers, and Batch processes
Build front-end components using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Create workflows using OmniScripts, FlexCards, and Integration Procedures
Perform data transformation using DataMappers/DataRaptors
Manage data flow between systems
Implement integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
Maintain middleware connections
Handle JSON and XML data formats
Apply security best practices
Manage user access (profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules)
Ensure compliance with platform limits and performance standards
Conduct unit testing and code reviews
Implement automated testing
DevOps & Tools
Manage CI/CD pipelines
Use tools like Visual Studio Code and IntelliJ
Work with version control (Git)
Handle deployments using Salesforce CLI, DevOps Center, Copado
Use JIRA for project tracking
Follow Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
Other Responsibilities
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Stay updated with Salesforce releases and changes
Mandatory Qualifications
7+ years of experience in complex projects
2+ years in a DevOps leadership role
2+ years of Salesforce platform experience
Desirable Qualifications
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Developer II, OmniStudio)
Experience with CI/CD tools
Experience with event-driven architecture
Experience with OmniStudio tools
Experience with modern IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ)
Experience with Git
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience in release planning
