Role Summary
Designs, develops, and maintains scalable Salesforce solutions that support complex business processes. Provides senior level technical expertise in custom development, integrations, and platform optimization while collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions.

Role Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools

Translate complex business requirements into scalable and secure Salesforce technical designs

Lead development of workflows, automation, validation rules, and custom objects

Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and CRM Analytics solutions

Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs and middleware

Perform code reviews and enforce Salesforce development and security best practices

Collaborate with data and integration teams to manage data loads, transformations, and data quality

Coordinate with Release Management to plan deployments and promote solutions to production

Create deployment documentation and change ticket requests

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance concerns, and data inconsistencies

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and administrators

Technical Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce

Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Proven experience designing Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)

Experience with CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics) or comparable reporting tools

Familiarity with Salesforce DX, source control, and CI/CD processes

Experience with enterprise system integrations (e.g., Guidewire, SAP, ImageRight)

Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, profiles, roles, and permissions

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; additional certifications preferred

General Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a contractor role with minimal oversight

Proven ability to manage priorities and meet delivery deadlines

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Salesforce certification is considered a plus.
