Field Technician - Commercial Printer Support
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime may be required)
Location:

Overnight travel required Sunday-Thursday
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a qualified Field Technician to provide end-user support, primarily focused on upgrading and supporting advanced commercial printers at retail locations. This role requires extensive overnight travel and strong hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Upgrade and support advanced commercial printers in retail environments
Replace printer components (print heads, toner drums, transfer belts, power supplies, paper feeds, image units, etc.)
Perform complex troubleshooting on printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systems
Install and remove equipment and systems as required
Provide on-site technical support and resolve escalated technology issues
Serve as liaison between customers and internal teams to drive issue resolution
Ensure timely resolution of system, transmission, and equipment issues
Determine cost-effective repair solutions to minimize customer downtime
Support daily operation of applications and equipment
Requirements:
Drug and Background screening
2-3+ years of field service experience (commercial printer experience required)
Strong electro-mechanical and printer hardware support experience (Top 2 required skills)
Experience working with large/commercial printers
Ability to travel extensively by car and/or plane
Valid Real ID-compliant driver's license, clean MVR, and reliable vehicle
Working knowledge of Windows OS (multi-platform), Windows Server imaging, networking, and system connectivity
Experience with Rufus, Windows configuration, and photo printing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a retail environment
