Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated
Technical Business Analyst
to support our end client,
Empower , in delivering cutting-edge financial applications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of business acumen and technical expertise, particularly in
financial services ,
authentication protocols ,
strong SQL/data analysis , and understanding of
UI/UX layers .
This role is fully remote and requires someone capable of bridging business requirements with technical implementations across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with product managers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and priorities.
Collaborate on financial workflows, including transaction processing, portfolio reporting, and financial compliance.
Analyze and model data using
SQL
to support reporting, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Evaluate and recommend solutions related to
authentication protocols
(e.g., OAuth2, SAML, MFA) and user access flows.
Review and validate UI/UX designs to ensure alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
Support testing and QA efforts, including the creation of test cases and participation in UAT.
Assist in project planning and status reporting.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar hybrid technical-functional role.
Strong understanding of
financial services
or fintech domain - preferably with retirement plans, investment platforms, or banking applications.
Experience working with
authentication protocols
such as
OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect , and
multi-factor authentication (MFA) .
Advanced skills in
SQL
- able to write complex queries and interpret datasets across relational databases.
Solid understanding of
UI/UX design principles , wireframes, and front-end integration processes.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Postman.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and front-end/backend architecture.
