Job Description
Warehouse associates form the foundation of our company’s success. As a Loader, Non-Formula, you will transport items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand. The loader prepares pallets of outgoing freight for shipping, observes all safety regulations, maintains quality standards, and ensures efficient product flow.

Position Purpose
The Loader, Non-Formula performs loading and unloading duties, handles pallet and trailer tasks, supports team members, and completes duties assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities

Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand in the correct stop sequence according to a loading plan.

Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.

Wrap pallets with cellophane, secure load and ensure shipping labels are in place.

Locate the proper slot on the trailer for the order, set it in place and secure the load.

Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles.

Inspect empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area.

Perform general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean.

Follow all work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.

Ensure work area is safe and report unsafe conditions or acts immediately.

Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain required supplies, and prepare for operations.

Put on all required personal protective equipment and safety gear.

Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to ensure they are clean and clear before loading.

Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.

Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.

Assist order selectors and perform other similar duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.

Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work the second shift: start time 4:00 pm until the shift is finished.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

At least 6 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.

Availability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.

Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift; lift, stack, and pull products from shelves, replenish product, from heights weighing between 10–35 pounds and up to approximately 60–90 pounds, depending on location.

Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

1+ year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience using a motorized pallet jack.

Experience in foodservice distribution or related industry.

Motorized pallet jack and/or forklift certification.
