
Epic BI Reporting and Analytics Developer

Required Skills & Abilities:
• Minimum
3 years of Epic Clarity Data Model (EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient (IP)) analytics development .
• 5+ years of SQL query
and stored procedure development experience.
• Working knowledge of Epic tools such as
Slicer Dicer, Cogito SQL, Radar
• Strong ability to work directly with operational clinical leaders, project office, clinic staff and other stakeholders
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with Epic, and County Epic application builders to capture official workflow documentation efficiently and accurately
• Strong communication skills to document and communicate with analytics and other IT management on status, risks and issues
• Ability to transition work, train, and provide mentorship to junior developers on best practices, perform SQL code reviews, and peer reviews of deliverables.
• Ability to follow Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle standards for
Unit Test, Peer Test/Review, SME
Validation and production migration and publishing.

• Consultant level ability to adapt to changing workflows, and communicate to leadership changes in data based on workflow adherence

Epic Inpatient experience : Admissions, Flowsheets, Discharge Medication Reconciliation, Quality metrics
•
Epic Ambulatory
experience: Visits, Consults, Orders, Groupers
• Experience creating Business Intelligence outputs in a Custody/Jail setting
Certifications:
Epic Clarity Data Model/Clinical or Financial
