Job Summary
Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for the open position of Recruiter. The position of COP Recruiter reports to the Director of Admissions. The incumbent will support the College of Pharmacy in the development, implementation, and management of student recruitment.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
At least 3-5 years recruiting or equivalent experience
Demonstrated knowledge and experience recruiting adult learners, non-traditional students and veterans
Knowledge or experience working in higher education or an educational setting
Proven record for achieving recruitment goalsStrong written and oral communication skills
Superior time management and organization skills
Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in marketing, communications or education
Enrollment management experience with the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, adult learners, non-traditional students, and veteran student populations
Sales/pharmaceutical sales experience – 3 years
National and regional recruiting experience
Academic recruiting with higher education focus
Experience using Banner and Slate CRM
Special Requirements Summary
Travel, evenings, and weekends may be required.
Responsibilities
Develop a COP comprehensive recruitment plan to include regular reports and presentations throughout the year.
Coordinate activities that promote the COP’s outreach efforts in support of local, state, and national recruitment, including but not limited to visitation programs, fairs, workshops, receptions and tours.
Develop and implement strategies to market the COP to prospective students through initiatives including undergraduate programs, community colleges, campus activities, and engagement of industry sponsors.
Attend national conferences, graduate and career fairs, and other related outreach activities.
Plan, organize open house, campus tours and recruiting promotions, including an annual on-campus recruiting event for prospective students and for implementing new recruiting programs as necessary.
Strategize and oversee all COP recruitment activities including the coordination of COP faculty and staff participation in recruiting events.
Engage, track and manage prospects at various points of the recruitment funnel with a goal of enrollment.
Develop specific strategies at each phase of the recruitment funnel to ensure enrollment of prospects.
Serve as liaison between faculty and prospective student applicants.
Analyze demographic data, enrollment trends, and survey data to determine, evaluate and customize recruitment practices.
Develop a prospect database to include two-year and four-year college students.
Develop innovative recruitment initiatives for the COP.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and overnight travel required.
Assume other related duties as required.
