Senior Construction Inspector (Civil/Structural)
Description
ITE is looking for multiple construction senior inspectors to support highway construction projects. The primary duties will require the experience and knowledge of performing Highway & Bridge Construction Inspection duties including construction inspection and the understanding of construction project administration methods and processes. This person will perform field inspection, material testing, and documentation along with other tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 8 years’ experience inspecting construction work, varied in size (projects ranging from $500K to $5 million plus) and complexity (multiple crews and crew sizes per shift).
Ability to pass a Background Check for Aeronautical (air-side) access.
Valid Driver's license required.
Night and weekend shifts will be required (rotating schedules).
Trained in fall protection, confined space and permit required confined space OSHA regulations and 30-hour OSHA construction safety training.
Desirable
ACI certified for concrete inspector-1 and Special Inspector. Structural Steel Bolting and Welding qualification S-1, S-2.
