experienced Vent Nurse (RN or LPN)

What You’ll Do as a Vent Nurse (RN/LPN)
Deliver skilled nursing care to residents requiring mechanical ventilation
Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management
Monitor ventilator settings, alarms, and troubleshoot equipment
Identify and respond quickly to respiratory distress or emergencies
Partner closely with Respiratory Therapy and the interdisciplinary team
Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans
What We’re Looking For
Active
NJ RN or LPN license
Hands‑on ventilator and trach experience (REQUIRED)
Current
BLS
certification (ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical judgment and ability to act decisively
Excellent communication skills and a team‑first mindset
