Job Description
Patient Access Specialist/Pre-Registrar is responsible for registering patients for their upcoming outpatient appointments to shorten wait times on dates of services. Pre-registrars must provide excellent customer service while collecting patient demographics, verifying insurance, and reviewing and collecting estimates before patient arrival. Additional responsibilities include generating and updating estimates, contacting insurance companies and other third parties, and meeting point-of-service collection goals.
Qualifications
Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
Work Experience: 0-6 months
