Job Title: IT Governance Analyst
Location:
Englewood, Colorado
On-Site requirement:
4 days per week
Primary Responsibilities:
Policy & Procedure Analysis:
Review and analyze existing IT policies and procedures to ensure they align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Risk Assessment:
Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks, contributing to the overall risk management strategy of Dish Network.
Compliance Monitoring:
Monitor IT activities to ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations (like SOX, HIPAA, etc.), and industry standards.
Audit Support:
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and insights.
Process Improvement:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT governance framework and processes.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive reports on IT governance metrics, risk assessments, and compliance status. Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Effectively communicate complex governance and compliance issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Training & Awareness:
Develop and deliver training sessions to increase awareness and understanding of IT governance and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A certification in IT Governance (e.g., CRISC, CISA) is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk, or Compliance roles.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL), risk management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Tools:
Proficient in using IT governance tools and software (e.g., Risk Management platforms, Policy Management Systems).
