Lakeshore Sport & Fitness is looking for an organized, reliable In‑house maintenance Technician to join our engineering team responsible for general upkeep of four 160,000+ square foot health club facilities. Primary responsibilities will be HVAC. Must have knowledge and a
minimum of 5 years of experience
in commercial HVAC service or building engineering. Candidate will also be required to perform a wide variety of semi‑skilled building maintenance, general labor and light repair tasks, and perform any related duties as required. Specific knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems is a plus.
Applicant must possess a working knowledge of building operational systems to ensure maximum uptime on all systems and equipment. Works with the maintenance manager to order materials, schedule and plan work. Must be willing to deal with clientele regularly and with a smile. As this is an open and operating facility, member service comes first. Must exhibit initiative, responsibility, and be pro‑active to keep work on track. This does not limit tasks that may be assigned but all will be related to maintenance and operations.

Ability to communicate effectively with membership and staff.
Various shifts available, work nights and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Technical school or higher education is a plus.
