Our client is a long-established beverage solutions company serving the Metro New York–New Jersey region since 1925. They specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of beverage dispensing systems for a wide range of industries, including hospitality, education, and healthcare. In addition, they manufacture and distribute premium syrups and beverage products across the United States and internationally.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance / Packaging Equipment Mechanic to support daily operations and ensure optimal performance of facility systems and production equipment. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong mechanical aptitude and experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of packaging and processing machinery. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule (approximately 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and offers consistent, year‑round work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical systems, pumps, and general building upkeep
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair packaging and processing equipment
Work with electronic controls, sensors, and computerized systems
Diagnose mechanical and technical issues and implement effective solutions
Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
Support continuous improvement initiatives and problem‑solving efforts
Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
Experience operating and maintaining food packaging equipment (strongly preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on maintenance skills
Knowledge of electronics, controls, electricity, and pneumatics is an asset
Basic computer and technology skills
Ability to think independently and take initiative; strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to pass a drug test
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $34–$36 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
