The Credentialing Coordinator II is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and management of facility credentialing and privileging
processes for employed and contracted providers. This role focuses primarily on obtaining and maintaining hospital and Ambulatory Surgery
Center (ASC) privileges, including new privilege applications and timely reappointment processing. The position requires strong attention to
detail, the ability to work efficiently in a paperless environment, and the capacity to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining
accuracy and responsiveness.
The Credentialing Coordinator II serves as a key liaison between providers, hospitals, ASCs, internal departments, and credentialing bodies
to ensure that privileges are obtained and maintained without delays that could impact patient care or revenue.

Duties you will be responsible for:
• Prepare and submit hospital and ASC credentialing and privileging applications for employed and contracted providers.
• Manage the privileging process from application submission through final approval, proactively following up with medical staff
offices to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate the collection and submission of all required supporting documentation and resolve application deficiencies.
• Track application progress, maintain accurate records of privileges and expiration dates, and ensure timely submission of
reappointment applications.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for providers and facility credentialing offices, providing responsive communication and status updates.
• Maintain accurate credentialing records within electronic systems and work effectively in a fully paperless environment.
• Manage multiple applications and deadlines while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Identify and resolve credentialing issues through research and problem-solving, escalating complex matters when appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal teams on credentialing workflows, provider onboarding, and departmental projects.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong knowledge of hospital and ASC credentialing and privileging processes
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage unique or complex credentialing scenarios
• High level of organization and time management
• Proficiency working in a paperless environment using credentialing databases, electronic files, and tracking systems
