About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Developer to join a large-scale, mission-critical ERP environment supporting 140,000+ students and nearly 10,000 employees across multiple sites in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This is a hands-on technical role where you will drive development, modernization, and integration across a fully integrated PeopleSoft ecosystem spanning Campus Solutions (CS), Human Capital Management (HCM), and Financial Management System (FMS).
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance complex PeopleSoft customizations, bolt-ons, and third-party integrations
Build and maintain REST/SOAP web services via PeopleSoft Integration Broker
Develop and manage App Engine programs, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, and PeopleCode logic
Support and implement patches, tools upgrades, and major maintenance cycles
Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority production issues across CS, HCM, and FMS modules
Collaborate with Oracle and other vendors to support external system integrations
Lead code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and provide technical guidance
Operate within formal change control processes, QA standards, and high-availability requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a computing or technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant PeopleSoft development experience, OR equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
Strong hands-on proficiency in PeopleCode and PeopleSoft Application Designer
Experience supporting large enterprise PeopleSoft environments (HCM, FMS, or Campus Solutions)
Solid understanding of relational data models (Oracle preferred)
Experience with version control and structured release management
Preferred
App Engine, Application Packages, Component Interface, Data Mover, PeopleSoft Documents
Integration Broker (REST/SOAP)
Fluid UI framework
COBOL (for PeopleSoft HR/Payroll)
Familiarity with vendor integrations - payroll platforms, learning systems, enterprise reporting tools
Debugging, trace analysis, and performance tuning experience
